I was up at Purdue for an event last night and after went to checkout the Chauncey Hill area and it was dead. Harry’s had it’s crowd, but I walked by Brothers and it only had a few people inside at about 9:00 PM. I know it’s summer, but I spent a summer at Purdue and it was never that dead, especially on a Thursday. Is it normally like that during the summer or are we still seeing the lingering effects of COVID? Or has the Chauncey Hill area really gotten that bad? I checkout some other parts of campus when I was up and I like what they are doing. It always amazes me how much stuff can change in a short period of time. I forgot they put in a Big Woods near Mackey. That could be a nice spot to grab some food or drinks before the game. I always wondered why that area of campus can’t support more establishments like a Big Woods.
