The oh so very soulful lead singer got him a case of the blues. Ridiculous good.Is anyone familiar with a group St Paul and the broken bones?
Blues with trombone and sax. New Orleans style. Good stuff.
I own Tower of Power vinyl! Admittedly haven't listened in many years. "Chase" was another band with horns (no, trumpet kinda horns) many years ago.If you like them, check out Tower of Power. Funk, Jazz, Disco...I kind of say they are like a poor man's Earth, Wind, and Fire.
Tower of Power played the Vogue many years ago and they were flat awesome. However their best work for me was the Little Feat Live album where they backed up Lowell George and the original band. Waiting for Columbus is the title and I still listen often. If you like them, check out Tower of Power. Funk, Jazz, Disco...I kind of say they are like a poor man's Earth, Wind, and Fire.

I saw Little Feat at the old Circle Theatre in Indy ... with Supertramp ... Open seating and not many knew about them back then. The Circle was not large. No Tower of Power backing them up though.Tower of Power played the Vogue many years ago and they were flat awesome.
