From the Associated Press:

"Minnesota's game at Illinois that was scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed because of COVID-19 health and safety protocols within the Gophers' program.

The announcement was made Monday by Minnesota, which didn't specify how many players would have been unable to play. ***

The game will be rescheduled by the Big Ten, with input from both schools. Minnesota is next scheduled to host Iowa on Sunday. Illinois (16-7, 7-5) will host No. 24 Rutgers on Saturday."

So it’s up to any team to say that by their own criteria - whatever that may be and however they choose to apply it - they can just force any game to be delayed?

Yeah, great thinking Big. Tighten that mess up so it can’t be exploited anymore.

The key here for us is that Illinois now has to play an extra game down the stretch. They now have 6 games in the final 16 days, including trips to Bloomington and West Lafayette.
