My guess this will drag on until Slick is dead and buried. The real question does Pitino ever coach anywhere again.
 
So this also means that Louisville knows they are going to go down in flames.

i don't have any particularly strong feelings for louisville outside of there being too many major basketball programs around
 
IMO, this is SOP for such a high-profile mess.....just like SR's suit and actions....eventually, where does the settlement land? How much more/less as a final "parting gift?" Who best uses whatever leverage they may have or can appear to have. I can't foresee his NCAA coaching days continuing.

Ultimately, the University of Louisville has to be on the hook with the NCAA/FBI....it was their basketball program and employees running it.
