Maryland opened up at -9 over Michigan. Currently -8.5
Iowa opened up at -4.5 over PSU. Currently -4
Illinois opened up at -8 over Northwestern. Currently -6.5
Surprised at the Iowa line. Iowa has been playing pretty well as of late (and PSU hasn't) so a -4 spread seems a little light. On the other hand, I had lunch with a Iowa grad and fan today and he's a bit concerned about the game. Long trip might take something out of the Poke errr Hawkeyes.
I doubt Michigan can pull off the MD upset on the road. Northwestern isn't going to sneak up on anyone from here on out but Illinois could be reeling a bit, so who knows in that game. Probably why the line has moved a point and a half.
Theoretically, any upset should help Purdue although there are a couple of scenarios where if Purdue, OSU and Iowa would tie at the end of the season, it helps Purdue due to their victory over Iowa and Iowa's sweep of the Buckeyes. Too early to be worried about those kind of things though.
