OT: Jim Harbaugh To The Jets?

Don't you think he would've discussed this with Patterson before he committed to staying? I know there was speculation several weeks ago about him wanting back into the NFL and he came out with a statement. I know coaches can be swayed but they pay him a ton of money and Urban is gone.

You would thought he would have, but I also think Harbaugh is going to do what he wants too.

I agree for sure. Just knowing he is a Michigan guy and I really don't think he would hang them out to dry. Brohm had the same situation but in a smaller form and he stuck with us. I really don't think he'll consider it.

He’ll likely stay till his welcome is worn out. Had Urban stayed at tO$U and won again in big fashion, it would be epic to see Harbaugh squirm and leave.

I'm surprised at the ambivalence if not downright dislike for the guy, even with their apparent resurgence. I work with several Michigan fans and their response is sort of a "Meh". Heaven help the guy if they drop to an 8-9 win season or lose to OSU at home next year.

Purdue football is fun again even more so than basketball to me.
You are right. Boiler Football surpassed Boiler Basketball for me this year too. I'm just not feeling it in basketball the way I do in football. Getting behind Boiler Football now under Coach Brohm, is really like buying Amazon stock 10 years ago.

If Brohm stays here and continues to build this thing, in 10 years we'll be a power. Thank God all of the "5 year plan" people have either fully bought in, or simply shut up. We're going to be Division champ in 2019, or 2020. The best is yet to come. It's great to hear all the voices on here backing this Boiler program together. It's a great day to be a Boiler! It's a great day to be on KHC! (Never thought I would say that, but the negativity has gone way down)

I'm in the camp too about being more excited for PU football than hoops. Maybe we've taken being good in hoops for granted, (good, not great) has something to do with it. I can't imagine PU will ever be known as a powerhouse though. I'd love to be proven wrong, but there seems to be too many factors working against that from a historical perspective.

Maybe we already know the best, and worse case scenario in hoops....
