Former Purdue recruit at one time (and former UofL commit before switching to OSU) has confirmed that he was given a "show" by escorts on his UofL visit. WOW!
I want to be on a Louisville recruiting visit for just one night.Former Purdue recruit at one time (and former UofL commit before switching to OSU) has confirmed that he was given a "show" by escorts on his UofL visit. WOW!
Hence the "former" recruit. Probably would be shocking to find out how many kids shop or colleges just straight up cheat to get players.Former Purdue recruit at one time (and former UofL commit before switching to OSU) has confirmed that he was given a "show" by escorts on his UofL visit. WOW!

Death penalty to the more serious violators would tidy things up a bit.
Has Purdue's BB program ever been on probation or at least somewhat serious violation?
Thanks,
Lyle was a former recruit for a lot of reasons. They have been on probation but by today's standards probably wouldn't be.Hence the "former" recruit. Probably would be shocking to find out how many kids shop or colleges just straight up cheat to get players.

Not a troll or stiring the pot. I assumed Purdue had a clean program as most people do.troll alert
not sure of any penatlies/probation. It is my understanding that the NCAA did find a 5k loan made to Luther Clay in the mid-90's (by a banker in Lafayette) with Luther under the impression it did not have to be repaid. And a couple car rides in the rain to Jamal Davis (iirc) around the same time - which were against NCAA rules.
That probation was a sore subject. If you read the charges they were things like a local banker giving Luther Clay a loan and an MSU Alum giving a player's mom a ride to a home game. It never seemed to add up. That was really the beginning of the end for Keady. His recruiting was never as strong after that ruling. Not a troll or stiring the pot. I remember hearing Dan Dakich basically admit on his radio show awhile back (he was acting out what would happen if Bob Knight would be a guest on his show) that IU cheated to get Calbert Cheaney to pick IU over his hometown Evansville Aces.
