Just read an interview on msn.com sports they had with Brian Kelly, the head FB coach at ND. I would like some other people to read it because if I read it correctly, what he said is a shocker. Maybe I am reading it incorrectly.
He says that no more than a few of his players would qualify to be admitted to ND academically if they weren't on an athletic scholarship. He goes on to say that ND must find more ways to make sure his layers get help because of the difficult time it is to play football and all its demands and to be able to study and stay eligible.
Please read this and tell me I am interpreting this in error. Thanks
