Dear Knuckleheads!
This is Bubba Day here on my Dad's (Harlan Day) account who has been a subscriber for some years now. As such, I have been a frequent reader of KHC on and off for years and there's never a shortage of entertainment!
For those of you who don't know me, I grew up in West Lafayette and went to WLHS (shout out to Toast my friend and classmate!). I walked on the PU bball team in 2008 after meeting Coach Painter at the preseason Paint Crew Party and played for three years (same class as JJ, Smooge, Rob).
I graduated with a Management degree in 2011 from Krannert, worked in marketing for a bit, and then have spent the past couple years in Ecuador doing mission's work with Cru, a Christian non-profit that does outreach and community building with college students (same organization as Athletes in Action).
Next month, I will be returning to Ecuador as a full-time staff member with Cru. I'm currently developing a team of supporters who will support me in prayer and/or financially. I'd love to connect with some of you personally to share more about what I am doing and let you know how you can partner with me.
If you're interested in partnering with me or just want to hear stories about PU bball
, drop your phone # or email in the thread and I'll contact you. It'd be great to meet in person (I'm currently in WL), but if not then by phone or email is good too.
You can see photos and more info on my personal webpage here too www.daycru.com. <--- That lovely lady with me is my Ecuadorian fiancee, Marina, who I am marrying in two months!!
Looking forward to meeting some of you!
-Bubba
