I felt the Brady punishment probably would have been less, if the guy would have come clean on his own. I think most everyone feels it wasn't that big of a deal, but it is still cheating.
Has anyone seen any statistics for estimating what deflated balls mean to completion %? It would interesting to see how that could possibly affect a season. Did it help on 2%, 5%, 10%? It is interesting to see that his completion % really jumped from 2007 to 2008 (61.8% to 68.9%), more than a 10% improvement. Easily the biggest change through his career.
