OT Bloomington, IL

Will be moving to Bloomington, IL in a few months for my career. Anyone have any recommendations on where to live. Considering living in one of the smaller surrounding communities(Heyworth, Downs,etc). We have a 3 and 1 year old so any recommendations are appreciated.
