I found a huge moth that is the size of a bat but apparently they typically aren’t this far north? I believe it’s a Black Witch Moth. I took a few pics but never have figured out how to share personal photos here without a flickr or comparable account. This is exactly what it looks like though. I’m in West Lafayette. It’s wingspan is at least six inches but likely more. Any insight on this monster I’d appreciate.
