Thought I'd bump this post because I saw on the news that Sean is starting to run on his prosthetic leg. Pretty inspiring to hear him already talking of future races and marathons. I hope he's still dreaming of being a Boilermaker!

as the father of a college track athlete , I'll root for him until he goes against my son. I have found that college track is such a different sport and atmosphere than football or basketball. in track every athlete roots for their opponent. and the goal is more to make your personal best than to defeat the other team. it's amazing when you see players from a team leading cheers for an individual athlete. yes, the athletes still want to win, but they also want their opponent to succeed.
