So like most on here I was disappointed when I saw we ended up an 9 seed in KYs region. The more I've thought about this I've started to come to the conclusion that maybe this isn't the worst thing. I mean this team isn't going to be the Cinderella story and run the table (just being realistic here). But getting this young group of guys into the tournament and for them to get an opportunity to play against the very best on the biggest stage is going to be some of the best experience they could ever hope for. Playing KY will most definitely be the "super bowl" for them and will most likely turn into a fantastic learning experience for the team (yes I'm assuming they beat Cincy which is a bit premature). I've got to believe that playing that level of competition in the tourney will be be a big motivator for these guys in the off season. Anyway I guess the way I look at this is this team still has a lot of growth ahead of it and if they get to the second round against KY it could be the perfect thing to propel this team into a massive growth during the offseason.
