Our guys seem to play just above the level of the competition. If we're playing a good team, we play better. When we play a bad team...I don't know if it's coach tinkering or just a team mentality...but we seem to play down to the level of competition. Or maybe the competition is trying to play up to our level.

if you are a true competitor you rise to the occasion. If that is you and you aren't tremendous athletes, then when you aren't as highly motivated your game is 2 steps back of "prime" and even lessor teams will stay in games.
