Well I guess kids like to know they actually have a spot and a scholarship - little things.

Not arguing your point but I am sure part of their discussion during his visit was about the potential for the opening and when they will know for certain.

I believe Painter for the most part is open and honest with players and doesn't mislead them. He also doesn't encourage folks to leave the team to open spots.
