On to Iowa

Yeah we looked like absolute garbage for most of that game yesterday. But in the famous words of Bill Belicheck, it's on to Iowa. Their defense is solid. Their tight ends are good. They will run the ball a lot, but maybe not as much as recent years.

Line opened Purdue -1.5. I actually expected it to be the other way around after how poor we looked while Iowa played Penn State down to the wire.

MSU beat PSU in Happy Valley, so maybe we are on the same level.

I just respect Iowa and tend to not believe we will do X against them till I see it. I like the way ferentz does things. So much so that I don’t like that autocorrect turns his name into ferments

LOVE this Boiler team!!!! It is a great story for College football for sure. I (of course) hope we win, but I do not have a good feeling at all. I just feel like your team speed is going to kill us. I also think your crowd will have a big impact on this game. Stanley really seems to have confidence issues at this point and I am sure Brohm will have your boys ready to redeem themselves.

I wouldn’t feel too bad yet. If we give the cushion we gave v. MSU there are average high school QBs who would pick us apart.

It should be a tough game ... probably the most even matchup on our schedule of a team that’s better than us.. well, maybe Northwestern

there is no way Stanley will be as bad as he was last saturday and you guys still should have won that game. 99 out of 100 times that pass he overthrew w/ no defender within 30 yards will be completed and that Int. at psu's 2 yard line should never have happened.
