Crikey, the BB board is just a tad bit contentious right now.
I’d say QB but I’m not sure who the top target is
So I’ll say OC Gus Hartwig from Zionsville...big position of need.

Ha. Maybe Brohm can start recruiting for basketball too?Crikey, the BB board is just a tad bit contentious right now.
Parker is from about 40 minutes from where I live. His brother plays at BC FWIW.Hartwig is a good guess. Of the Indiana guys that we are in on that won’t likely drag their recruiting out, Ty Wise, Randy Holtz, Ryan Brandy come to mind. I think Ty has some pretty thick ties to Notre Dame, so an offer there likely takes him off the board. So it’s possible he commits and then decomits with a Notre Dame offer. Hartwig and Fryer are both highly rated Indiana Centers. I think Purdue has a shot at landing one. I agree with Center as a position of need.
The top QB listed on 247 is Parker Mcquarrie, out of New Hampshire. 9th overall pro style. Not sure what the chances are, but we are listed as warm.
Purdue has been hot on the recruiting trail. I am not sure any of the scouting sites are fully up to date. What to watch will be when the camps are announced and who starts showing up.
Kind of off topic, but I hope our first ‘21 is Yanni. YK is going to be an absolute monster. He should be at every game for the next 2 years. Hopefully he sees how great it is and wants to stay close to home. Plus, if he commits early like his brother, it almost ensures a great class. Never hurts to have an elite prospect recruiting for you.
I'd say one of Ryan Brandt, Gus Hartwig or Randy Holtz will be the first commit.

Seems he has a never ending hard on for Michigan. I think even if his brother is a star, if we don't win 8-9-10 games over the next 2 years that we won't get him.

I don’t think it’s that as much as the fact there are 3 undefeated teams for 4 spots. The 4th was the team IMO who had the best shot to beat Bama. They were talking on Golic and Wingo that’s harbough May have interest to go back to the NFL with the Cleveland and GreenBay job opening up. If Urban and Jimmy leave the Big, Brohm becomes the biggest winner. The two biggest threats to local recruiting gone. That would be very interesting. But, the Big will be even more devalued. A one loss Ohio State didn’t get it this year. You pretty much would have to run the table to have a shot.
crystal ball has him at 100% for BC right now.Parker is from about 40 minutes from where I live. His brother plays at BC FWIW.

That's interesting. It's hard for me to believe that he'd even consider leaving Michigan with the current state of the B10 east. Never winning a division title, never beating OSU, etc.... would seem to weigh heavily on someone as competitive as Harbaugh.
Beach is goodBarron graduates now. That means it was a big position of need in the last recruiting class OR that the coaches think Beach is good. At that point yes you always need centers, but it Beach isn’t good, Hartwig won’t cure that. He’d be ready to play when Beach is a senior

Wow ESPN is reading and copying my posts. I called it first in the thread on this board about the Green Bay job. I want my kudos and cred.

When you talk nonsense and gab on and on, you are bound to get something right by sheer luck. You shall have no kudos, and you shall like it.
My track record speaks for itself. Unfortunately when I say it people here don't believe it. When others copy my thoughts, like sheep, people follow them and bow down to them as if they were their original thoughts.
Yes, I've made some very wild speculations. Unlike many here, I'm not afraid to go against the norm and make some original bold predictions! Who was the first here to suggest the possibility of going to the Music City Bowl? What were my predictions for Purdue's record the last 5 years? Look at my previous posts to find the answer. People call me a fool. But looking back, my accuracy while admitting I know nothing has been very accurate. I'm either very lucky, crazy, or perhaps I know a lot more than I'll ever reveal here!
That means there is more than one of you who have failed to see the light and jump on the wolegib bandwagon ."People" is plural.
That's interesting . . .

What was my speculative opinion about Bell? My opinion hasn't changed. You can find it in my previous posts!
For a guy who never pays much attention to my posts, you sure do respond to a lot of them!Hmmm. I think I can relate. I recall a bunch of b*tching about my posts . . . problems with the . . . "tone" . . . the . . . "language" . . . but not one word of rebuttal.
Candidly, I don't pay a lot of attention to your novellas. Too much . . . fluff and stuff. I'll take your word for it.

I never make predictions until I know hat a team consists of. In that manner, I do not change my prediction. Would you make a prediction of the St. Louis Cardinals before they acquired Goldschmidt? Or before Brohm made his decision to stay? I like to use the scientific method. Make a hypothesis, gather data, and speculate before drawing conclusions followed by my lengthy error paragraphs. What do you think our record will be next year? Norm
He knows less about football than my toddlersWhat do you think our record will be next year? Norm
That is correct. I had no idea you had toddlers in your household or what. Their names are or that you were even a dad. Obviously they will not be track stars. He knows less about football than my toddlers

I can make a Cardinals prediction. Goldschmidt is not going to fix their problems. It will take more pieces than that.I never make predictions until I know hat a team consists of.
