Time for B10 predictions....

It may be the orangecello, the freezing temps, or boredom but here we go....Predicting the winners and losers.

1. TIE....Purdue and MSU for the title I like PU's chances, but the Sparty's have a lot of talent. Depends on guard play for both teams.
2. Minnesota...Minny, Michigan, and Maryland could wind up in this spot.
3. Michigan
4. Maryland
5. OSU Playing very well under the new staff.
6. Wisky Surprisingly much weaker than the past few years.
7. PSU This may the year of the Nittany Lion to surprise a lot of folks. Solid team.
8. Northwestern If McIntosh can get on track, they'll make the show again.
9. Illinois New coach and new system. They'll surprise a few teams.
10. Nebraska The Huskers, Hawkeyes, Ooooosiers, and Rutgers battle to stay out of the bottom.
11. Iowa
12. Indiana
13. Rutgers

I'll buy into MSU, PU, Maryland ... after that, I really don't think it matters. Five teams get into the dance. PU gets a four seed. (I want to put a 3, but I've lived through too many dances to think this one will be any different

Well they would have to win the B1G to do that or place a strong second and win the B1G tourney Imo. B10 has zero respect nationally this year.

I haven't seen Wisconsin play. Are they that bad? I can't tell you how much I would love to see them finish last

Purdue #2 in regular season in BIG 10 and #2 in BIG 10 tourney. MSU = #1. I don't care about those beneath us.

because BIG 10 has such a poor non-conference performance, NCAA will give Purdue a #4 seed, and MSU a #2 seed. BIG 10 receives 5 NCAA tourney invites - - the lowest total in a decade based on non-performance in the non-conference games. and Purdue will make the sweet 16. And UK, Arizona and Kansas will creep back into the top 10 and Purdue ends up ranked #14.
