Still working on football recruiting but here are some thoughts ...

I like Purdue's chances tonight. Their track record is pretty good at making high-volume perimeter scorers relatively inefficient and that'll be the goal tonight against D'Angelo Russell. Rapheal Davis gets another big-time challenge.

If Purdue's bigs play like they have been, they should have a decided edge inside and Marc Loving's loss really hurts their ability to play small.

Rebounding is so important. Purdue should outrebound this team and has to keep Sam Thompson off the offensive glass.

When Ohio State is big, Purdue's big men are better, when Ohio State is small, it might be Indiana-like in the matchup, but Ohio State is way better defending the perimeter.

We will see what happens, but I wouldn't expect a ton of zone from Ohio State and I think Purdue is probably better suited right now to handle man, though Ohio State is very good in that man. Loving's loss really hurts their depth, as well as taking away a key weapon.

We'll talk to you again later.

Feel free to discuss the game or wherever.

In-game updates right here.
