Columbus (Ohio) Hamilton Township CB Jacob Long is picking up a lot of major interest lately. He has had an outstanding camp season and just yesterday received his first Power Five offer from the University of Virginia. Purdue was in to see Jacob last week and he is expecting some good news soon.

"I'm interested in Purdue and they said that they are really interested in me and that they love my film," he told me. "They said that I should be expecting an offer soon."

Marcus Freeman has been doing a good job here and had laid the ground work.

"Coach Freeman is a great guy. It's cool that I grew up watching him and now I actually know him."

"They said they liked what they saw in me when they visited and we have spoken a lot more since (they stopped by the school to watch him workout). Coach Freeman came by the workout session but I've been talking to coach Johnson a lot more lately."

"We are working on scheduling a time for me to come up and bring my family," Long said. "I went for Jr day but my mom wasn't able to go because of work. So coach Johnson wants me to come again and have her come along so they can meet and stuff."

Definitely something to keep an eye on here. Honestly this is one of the major sleepers left in Ohio. Legitimately 6-feet tall and one of the fastest kids at every camp he attends, hard to find guys like that.
