Damn, he was one of my favorites. In a day where movies come and go, and so do the actors.....Gene Wilder was a classic. He will surely be missed. Reunited with Gilda.

Loved Gene Wilder. Can't leave out Dr. Frankenstein (of course pronounced Fronkensteen).

Heck no you can't!!! CLASSIC!! Makes me wonder what Gene Hackman is up to these days??? The younger generation may never know what they are missing.

Speaking of Gene Hackman, his role as a blind man in Young Frankenstein is one of the funniest scenes in that movie.

When I was an undergraduate I had a job for two summers as a teller for a large bank in a branch on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Gene Wilder was a customer of the bank and would often come in to transact business. Despite his fame, he was always low-key, polite and very friendly to the staff. That was not always the case with other customers. We always enjoyed seeing him as he had a nice word for everyone.

I was saddened to hear of his death. He was a truly nice guy.

maybe a forgotten reason for tribute to Mr. Wilder......providing the source for introducing the raving beauty, Kelly LeBrock, to the general public. Sadly, back to work.....

Thanks to all the other posters' good wishes and fond memories....
