I don't think it means that at all. It might, but I wouldn't read too much into it.

I would say anyone that saw our defense this year knows that starting positions are open, and he might not wanted to sit around not knowing if he was going to play at Auburn much or not. We offer the chance to start.

I did see that he had a nice offer list of schools when he was a senior in high school.

I just want to know if he can remember assignments and do it..
I just want to know if he can drop into a zone or cover a rb 1 on 1
We didn't have enough of this in 2020 maybe he's a good start to next year
