Yeah they’re doing a really good job setting up Smith. On 2 TD’s inside the 10, the pre-snap or beginning of play motion / misdirection for Smith was highly effective.

The 40+ yard TD was a good read by the QB. A linebacker was tasked with covering the Heisman trophy winner. Tough matchup.

Even one of the first plays for Alabama was a WR screen to Smith. Nice execution and WR blocking.

And Purdue hasn't done that? What world are you living in? When Purdue had Blough at QB, Rondale got open plenty. Mediocre QBs, doesn't seem to be open.

Those plays are not unique to Sark, put Mac Jones on Purdue and suddenly both Bell and Rondale look better. Not rocket science.

And I agree Mac Jones is a really good QB. But with the talent he has at RB, WR, OL, and TEs, I believe even Wolegib at QB could win the SEC...
