Observations on First Playoff National Championship

Just some observations on the the first playoff system for what it is worth.

1. Venue - As far as I am concerned the final game should always be played in the Rose Bowl as this is the number one bowl with the most tradition and for the center piece it should be held in the Rose Bowl

2. At Half time I want to see both bands as this is college football. I know that if you are going to give the rights over to ESPN , then you have to put up with garbage like the Jimmy Kimmel segment , but the half time should at least feature both college bands! Tradition of college football

3. One would think that given the billions the NCAA makes on this game that at least they could have a much better trophy to the winner! Just my opinion, but crystal ball trophy from last year is much better than this new one!

overall I think the committee got it right in the end. Just think under last year's process you would have had Alabama against FSU! Well done for the first year

I hope they stay at 4 teams.

I dont think there will ever be 5 undefeated p5 teams. I really enjoyed the focus on the top four. It kept me watching games I wouldnt have watched otherwise. If you raise it to eight, it shifts the focus from the top 6-7 teams to the 4th-12th placed teams.

If/when they expand I hope they go 6 with two byes. that way all rankings mean something.

The football was fun to watch.

As for TCU and Baylor, they lost, and when you lose in college football you leave it up to others. If they change the importantance of the regular season I'll stop watching games not Purdue.

I dislike the feel of regular seasons.
