I have never seen this before, and frankly thought it was B.S. Is this how it's supposed to be? Are you supposed to be able to call a foul and then review it to see if your eyes were deceiving you? Not saying this would have changed the outcome today, but it couldn't have hurt.

And the real shame of that scenario is after seeing the replay where Nunn clearly bodied the shooter and Nunn's hand clearly slammed the shooter's shooting arm, while the other guy was just standing behind the play with his arms straight up, they had the audacity to change that obvious call. It was so obvious, they should have never gone to the replay in the first place!

My first question is, is that the way that replay is supposed to be used? It just seemed so compounded by how many touch fouls they were calling both ways also.

Could be wrong but I'm pretty sure you can't use replay solely to determine who committed the foul unless it was flagrant.

That play pretty much summed up how the game was being called, the refs were god awful!!! We didn't play good but the refs didn't help our case at standing a chance while Illinois was shooting out of their ass!

The calls were horrible. I think it had a lot to do with the game outcome. Go back and watch a replay of some of the calls, like when Davis got called for trying to follow his man through a screen. What the hell is he supposed to do. Stop five feet away and bow to the guy setting a pik???!!!! Then Johnnny Hill got called for those two quick calls that were BS. AJ gets called for a moving screen when he hasn't even moved!!

No doubt, we were getting screwed big time.

And until our guys get a boatload of confidence to say f^^ it, we are going to kicks ass even if the fans, and the refs, and the other team are out to get us - then a few bad calls will screw us up!!!

I know our defense lagged because of the foul calls, but damn it, adjust the next time, and still play defense!!! And don't throw away the ball!!!

Calls seemed bad both ways.
I guess I didn't recognize the officials, maybe they typically do other conferences?
there were just so many bizarre calls on what would normally be regular plays, almost had to be some behind the scenes bet/money going on

Totally see your points. Thing that stood out to me was how close they were calling everything. I know that's a point of emphasis, but it hasn't been called like that up to this point. Then all of a sudden they decide to call it that way. I know, the players and coaches have got to adjust to how the game is being called. Problem being, the players on both sides looked confused as to what was a foul and what wasn't.
