I wonder if anybody who predicted 3 or less wins would like to revise their predictions. I felt from the start that if you are going to look at our team through a microscope, you need to do the same for each of our opponents. So many of our opponents have a lot of weaknesses. I felt the fact that CJB broomed all the dead weight off the roster to make room for a lot of experienced transfers who can help immediately was far under estimated by a lot of guys. I thought Purdue winning by double digits was a no brainer yesterday. This roster is 36% new players, and is better than last years team by far.

This coach has won 75% of his games coming to Purdue. He has won every bowl game he has been in. The coach doesn't play the game, but he makes a BIG difference. CJB is great. I never under estimated this team. Our coach will exploit the weaknesses of each opponent and put us in the best position to win every week. This year has so many parallels to 1997 that it isn't funny. I am glad I put my money where my mouth is and won my Purdue bet too. Buckle up boys and girls, this is going to be an incredible ride!

If anybody actually does that then they are fools. Being negative is bad enough, but being a fool is hard to take. For once, everybody should band together and support this team 100%![/QUOTE]

I expect them to win the National Championship otherwise I am going to burn the campus down. :p

Seriously, I have gone into this season with low expectations and I still do. Brohm has inherited a team that has deficiencies in talent and depth. Despite his recent additions/changes, the team is not where it should be to be competitive in the B10. That said, I have been very impressed with how Purdue has played over the last two games. They have played better in these last two games than any games under DH2. And there is potential that this will continue the rest of the season.

What are my expectations? For the team to get better week after week. To improve as the season goes on. If they do that, success will eventually come to them. Maybe in not in this season but in the years to come. It is possible for Brohm and the team will exceed many of our expectations this season (including mine). However, I am not going to pass judgement on Brohm if Purdue does not win another game this season. It takes time to turn a program around and I will give Brohm time to do that. If he exceeds my expectations, it will be icing on the cake. :)

I'm sticking with my prediction of 4+2. = 4 guaranteed wins (IU, Rutgers, Illinois Ohio) + 2 possible wins(Minn, Northwestern, Mizzou).

Anything less than a Final Four every year is unacceptable. Oh wait, wrong board. Never mind then.

I can't but help just take this season one game at a time. I'm so encouraged by what I saw the first two games. This creates a lot of optimism for me. However....our issue has been playing with passion EVERY game. So...I go into each game optimistic...expecting a WIN...and watching for a team that plays with PASSION.
