My TV will be on the Purdue game at noon, PSU-Auburn at 3:30, and hate-watching Nevada-Iowa at night.

Friday Sep 16

7:30pm EST - Florida State @ Louisville - ESPN

Perhaps Louisville is in a rebound? After being blown out by Syracuse and looking awful in the first half against UCF they were able to come back and grind out an ugly win. Florida State is coming off a bye after beating the Brian Kelly-led LSU Tigers. A win here would certainly help in retaining Satterfield.

Saturday Sep 17

12:00pm EST - Purdue @ Syracuse - ESPN2

This game will come down to who does the better job: Purdue stopping Sean Tucker, or Syracuse stopping AOC and Purdue's passing attack in general.

12:00pm EST - Oklahoma @ Nebraska - Fox (lol)

Yikes. Maybe the players hated Frost and his firing will provide a boost to morale? This game was actually close last year.

12:00pm EST - Southern Illinois @ Northwestern - BTN

Northwestern nearly came back to tie Duke after trailing 21-0 in what was I guess a hangover loss following the big win against Nebraska in Ireland two weeks prior. Nebraska's done a good job of taking the shine off that win though.

12:00pm EST - Western Kentucky @ Indiana - BTN

Bill Connelly's SP+ predictor picks WKU to win 31-27. The Hoosiers struggled against Idaho for a while in their game, being down 10-0 at the end of the first half. Might want to turn on score alerts for this one.

3:30pm EST - Colorado @ Minnesota - ESPN2

This is Minnesota's most difficult non-conference game, even though Colorado has gotten blown out by TCU and Air Force in their 0-2 start to the season. Next week the Gophers travel to Michigan State for their first real test before we fly up to Minneapolis for what could be the most important game in the West this year.

3:30pm EST - Penn State @ Auburn - CBS

Purdue has already played and lost to Penn State, but it'd be nice to see them pick up this win and prove to be a legit team. Penn State is the first Big Ten team to ever play in Auburn's stadium.

3:30pm EST - New Mexico State @ Wisconsin - BTN

The Badgers are coming off a pretty shocking loss to Washington State at home, which featured 6 total turnovers. (Maybe more because there were 2 separate plays that contained 2 turnovers each and I have no idea how that gets recorded.) Wisconsin will probably take their frustration out on the Aggies who already lost to Minnesota 38-0 two weeks ago.

7:30pm EST - UCF @ FAU - CBSSN

UCF is coming off a frustrating loss to Louisville and traveling for what should be a difficult non-conference game. No one is taking a Sun Belt team lightly after last week at least. FAU travels to West Lafayette after this game.

7:30pm EST - SMU @ Maryland - FS1

It's hard to tell how difficult of a non-conference game this will be for Maryland. SMU has blown out North Texas and Lamar. But if Maryland is taking a legit step forward as a program this should be a comfortable win, right?

7:30pm EST - Nevada @ Iowa - BTN

Will the Iowa offense break 200 yards? The college football world will be watching, the same way you can't help but look at an accident.

Bye Week: Illinois
