While I agreed with decision to fire Hope, I do think losing Nord was a bigger loss than I had anticipated.
Watching the BTN game in Ann Arbor (2010) reminded me how good he was at playing to the strengths of his personnel....and playing away from their weaknesses.
Went back and looked at the offense production at Big ten official site....and we were essentially a middle of the pack offense in 3 out of 4 years under Nord in conference games. Not sure our talent level was middle of the pack those years. In Nord's one bad year...he had a historic level of injuries at skill positions.
