Kinda crazy… I thought we just beat a legendary team with Tony dorsett in the backfield .. a team that plays more physical and harder than everyone else.

I'm guessing OSU will be ranked 4th in the playoff rankings, which frankly is the only poll that matters.

these rankings Don't mean anything. The rankings that come out on tuesday are the only one the matter now. I would expect purdue to be ranked in that ranking on tuesday

So doing a quick redown on only Purdue’s placement on all of these ballots it’s nearly statistically impossible that they aren’t a top 25 team when looking at their rankings alone. Would have to do a deeper search to see what team is overrated enough in a few ballots to knock them out. Very interesting at least to me

Pitt is unranked on 17 ballots and their highest ranking is 14 and average ranking on ballots they are on is 21.7.
Purdue is unranked on 22 ballots and their highest ranking is 15 and average ranking on the ballots we are on is 21.7.
Interchangeable teams and I guess I too would have to give Pitt the nod at 7-2

It’s interesting that some of the BIG writers do not have Purdue in the Top 25. OSU, Iowa, Minnesota.
