I'm not sure why this bothered me so much, but I just got home from the Dicks Sports in Carmel and there was zero Purdue apparel. Racks and racks of IU, ND, and even a couple racks of Butler. I went and asked the girl working there and she said she didn't know why there was none, they must be sold out. There were no empty spots where there should have been Purdue gear, just simply a ton of the rest. The worker also commented that it was funny I was asking because someone else was just in asking the same thing. As I walked away, I heard her say to another worker, "Does Purdue play this weekend, or something?"
By the way, I wasn't even in there for Purdue clothes, the absence was just glaring as I walked by that section. Am I just being a conspiracy nut or doesn't there have to be a reason the Purdue clothes were "sold out"? There's got to be more Purdue fans in Carmel than Butler, right?
Probably just being too sensitive, but it did make me mad. Seems like outside of West Lafayette, that area has to have the biggest concentration of PU fans in the country. Sad when there's not one shirt to be had.
