i just read an article that said despite the announcement from several publications that no one has confirmed this with MSU, Izzo, or the CS camp. Is this true? The other question is that I am not from a generation of blogging. Are bloggers held to the same professional journalism standards as journalists and reporters or is it just opinions rather than facts? Is it ok to blog about a subject that is based on what you think versus what you know? I think too many stories on GBI are based on opinions or partial facts based conversations with third parties and not the actual source. Is this ok for blogging and because someone said something does it make it a fact? Really just curious because I use this site to vent, express my frustration about the Boilers, and celebrate with other fans when we actually have success. I have never really thought that anything from GBI or any blogger on this site was factual or too credibal sense it is a site for individual opinons which is what I thought blogging is all about. I think fellow bloggers beat each other up on this site rather than laugh about there frustration. It is clear everyone has an opinion about coaching, recruiting, hiring, firing, play calling etc... That is the beauty of social media and blogging. You can post whatever you feel or think. Too many people are criticizing individuals for what they post or tweet. My opinion is that it is free speech and we should be able to say whatever we think!

This CS thing is silly. There are no facts that confirm he has left MSU, that he is actually interested in Purdue, or will look at UK, Duke, or CAL. Therefore, post whatever you want because it is just your opinion of what you think is going on. It is neither right or wrong and until somone speaks to the sources and quotes them verbatim than it is just blogging opinions. Until CS actually makes a decision than everything is speculation until he actually does it and then it becomes a fact. The fact is he committed to MSU and it has not been confirmed by the university or Izzo that he has decommitted. It has only been leaked out by the press but until I hear it from the sources I will consider him still with MSU!
