No Haas on All-Freshman team..

Surprising. There are some good ones this year, but to leave him off seems a bit dumb to me. I'm sure he doesn't care all that much and doesn't need much motivation, but this could be a facilitator of that.

His playing time cut down during the conference season, not really surprising. I wouldn't really be too concerned considering these are rather arbitrary lists.

I would have had Edwards on there before Haas. VE had 3 FOW awards.

Who cares what those socksuckers say anyway, PU basically has two freshmen starters and one that comes off the bench all the time..........good for third place in the league. That's a much greater award IMO.

Yeah, I agree. Would have been nice to see Vince and\or Isaac honored. But those guys are going to catch bigger fish before they're done at Purdue.

The coaches made a mistake and now they better watch out 'cuz they might get an inadvertent elbow to the face from Haas. I hear those leave people woozy for days. I can see it now: "Tom Crean won't coach today due to concussion-like symptoms." (tic)


Seriously though, all of the freshman that made the list were deserving, IMO. It's a good crop of frosh this season. The only one that I think a solid argument could be made against is Jae'Sean Tate. I think Vince Edwards would have made "the team" if his scoring and rebounding didn't taper off as much as it did for about half of the conference games.

Hasn't stopped him yet.

A more likely excuse might be: "Tom Crean won't coach today. He got the crap smacked out of him and there isn't enough of him left to stand up."
