The best thing about the tape of that game is after the Purdue win,Coach Young accepted the trophy and it looks like the guy that gives him the trophy was really unhappy.I have always assumed that he was a Georgia Tech alum who was upset with Purdues easy win.I was a 'Young' Boiler back then. Ive always believed that Purdue's success in late 70s led by QB Herrmann..Illinois hired Mike White which led to QB Dave Wilson and Tony Eason....Still love to watch the Christmas Day beat down of Georgia Tech in 1978 Peach Bowl.
