Does anyone have any insight on any of our former Boilermakers who were waived/released in the NFL this week? Or throughout training camp for that matter?

Markus Bailey made the Bengals roster. He was kind of on the budlbble from what I was reading.

Hopkins also made the Rams. Kind of expected for just a 2nd year 4th rd pick, but the Rams have 4 TEs.

Also Blough is 2nd string.

Derrick Barnes is on Detroit's roster. Looks like he's currently sitting at #3 LB, so he may get some starts.

Since people are asking, here's the Boilermakers in the NFL:

Rondale Moore WR (Arizona)
Ricardo Allen SS (Cincinnati)
Markus Bailey LB (Cincinnati)
Anthony Brown CB (Dallas)
Derrick Barnes LB (Detroit)
David Blough QB (Detroit)
Dennis Kelly LT (Green Bay)
Brycen Hopkins TE (LA Rams)
JaWhuan Bentley LB (New England)
Ryan Kerrigan DE (Philadelphia)
Raheem Mostert RB (San Francisco)

It will be interesting to see how the Cardinals use Moore. I had heard early in the preseason that they were creating specific plays for him, and they wanted to get him out in open space as much as they could (both slot and things like jet sweeps). I hope that happens. If healthy, I can image Rondale showing the NFL the Rondale of 2018.

Based on the 2 preseason games, they are going to use him pretty much the same way Brohm used him. Looks like he could see a lot of touches.
