New preferred walk on linebacker

What else to we know about this young man? Seems like he could of got some offers from smaller schools, if he hasnt already. Could he blossom into something more?

Looks to be just a tick slow with his first step and overall speed which is probably the reason for his lack of offers at the high level...BUT he'll be a special teams start, potentially from Day 1. Could really see him being a Jon Goldsberry type of player who stars as a special teams player and sees the field when needed as an incredibly solid backup LB.

Hudson is probably a better comp.

Good point...didn't think about Hudson. Honestly forgot that he was a walk-on considering how much he actually ended up playing. Hudson just had the ability to make things happen when he played. Goldsberry was a pretty freak athlete from what I can remember.

He was for his size. He was in the NFL for a while.

Used to watch Goldsberry blow up guys on special teams. I would just watch him and not the ball carrier. He was Purdue's all time special teamer IMO.
