not really wowed by the hire from an overall or football perspective, but i like his basketball hires at Xavier (GT - Pastner - not so much). I did like that he acknowledged our post season struggles and that you are judged in March. sounds like he acknowledges the fan base's frustration and - at least - he is outwardly striving for more (which is good IMO).

If it does come to making a bball hire down the road, let's hope he can repeat some of his Xavier magic.

IMO, it's what the coach instills in the team & the players he recruits. A good coach will put together a team that strives for that goal. The fan base of each school expects & deserves that.
