Need more clear out's to take the O to the next level

This is one thing that we have not shown much of this year. When AJ is in the game and comes out to set a high pick find VE as quickly as possible and send him to the hole. This does a few things 1) Its an easy score. 2) aggressive drives draw fouls. 3) Opens up the shooters.

In the Butler game we were looking down low and if not there shooting from outside. This team needs a balance of all three components of the game to be as deadly as they can be. Two dimensions can be stopped by a team like Butler. They would have been hard pressed to stop VE and Ray if they would have drove more often. Oh and don't turn the ball over 18 times.

The drives that we did have were bad though. Out of control and really not having a plan of what they were going to do. The defense packed in and out guys just kind of put their head down and charged in hoping for the best. It caused some actual turnovers but more than that, some bad shots that were effectively turnovers. The offense just seemed lost since they couldn't get the ball inside.

They may have been bad but they need to get better at it. VE should be able to pick his spots and get to the rim more often than he does.
