Neal has been a positive force for the team during some trying times the last few years. During his stay he has represented Purdue as a true student athlete and as a fellow Purdue grad THAT is appreciated. Boilermomma, it seems we just got introduced to Jon and it is almost time to say goodbye…and it was way too short to fully absorb our appreciation. Jon, like Neal has been a leader for this team filled with many youngsters. Jon was able to be a leader by actions as well as being vocal. Both of you have been positive student athletes for Purdue behind the scenes, in practice, during games and helped return a culture that Purdue has known for many years. Thank YOU, your parents and friends that were instrumental in you two heading to West Lafayette.

I trust it has been a good experience for all and know you understand when they talk about family at Purdue what it means. Good luck Saturday and the remaining games. May your experiences at Purdue be a catalyst in reaching your future goals!

Good young adults are the product of their parents. Kudos to the parents of both Neal and Jon for doing a fine job and sharing your sons with us for a short time.
