Single game tickets for ND games went on sale at 6 pm today. Scored a few tickets to the Purdue game about 20 min ago if anyone else is looking to go.

I’ll give Purdue a chance to win by not going. I haven’t seen them win on the road on games I attended besides Indiana in over 45 years. They need to pay me to stay home. :D

I was there in 2004.
I grew up in South Bend, not far from ND.

My first Purdue/ND game in South Bend was the "Joe Montana game"...

I have been to every game there since...with only 2004 to genuinely enjoy.

I went with my Dad every time...I bought tix tonight and will go for the first time since he passed unexpectedly last fall...he went to every game in the series from I believe '67 on, save '74 (go figure).

Lots of "not great" memories of Purdue games there (including one where Jeff George literally pulled a comb out of his pants during warmups to comb his hair...the Travis Dorsch fake punt...the Jim Chaney/Gary Godsey game...some pretty epic beatdowns during the Holtz era), but, some other memories that were great...just going there with my Dad all of those times, and, nothing better than the game in '04...I was just giddy after that one.

There have been many, many times that I exited while mumbling that I did not think Purdue would ever win there...which is why '04 was so special and enjoyable...I remember walking out after the last one...another that Purdue more or less seemingly gave away...thinking that I was so glad that I was there in '04 to witness them winning there, in the event that it was the last time that they ever won there. I have the same sentiment about having gone to the Rose Bowl...while disappointed that they lost, I was beyond happy to go, and, more so in hindsight in that they will likely never play in it again.
