Okay thanks. If they are contested and still going in, not much more you can do.
We are playing fast because we are trying to speed up game -- problem is we aren't setting it up for the inside paint buckets (that helped us with first two games of BTT). Why is this so difficult. Play to our strengths, not what seems fun because our players want to play a different style bc of opponent weakness.
For BBG.....11:09 left in half, Boilers up 16-12 on a 9-0 run.....still playing a little tight and unstructured. Starting to settle in on the defensive end.
We look flat. Bad matchup for Biggie. If he doesnt start dominating the glass we need to go smaller. His guy is scoring on him and he is turning it over again

NO rebounding, we shoot 3s even though we shouldn't and they don't go in. UALR shoots and makes them. Explains why we are losing. Purdue is not playing the style we have seen all year that has worked. Street ball. We will lose if we don't change play calling. Remember IL/UM in BTT? Literally when underneath almost every time. If that's not happening, that's on Painter. OUR GAURDS ARE NOT WHY WE ARE HERE. Inside or nothing -- last resort, kick out.
AJ needs to get pumped up and start dominating, too. Thinking too much out there. Just dominate, AJ.
Can't let these guys hang around in the second half like this. Other than losing, I sure don't want Seth Davis to be right about this game.
This is just a make or miss game. They made 3 bullcrap flat footed 3's with defenders in their face. We missed 5 good open looks!
Purdue 1-7 from deep...a couple were forced, but these have been fairly good looks. I agree.....gotta knock some of these down.
So Painter either never makes adjustments or only does it in the tourney? I get confused keeping track of the Painter criticism.
