it wasnt pretty but a win nonetheless. still a team searching for an identity. tkr really needs to work harder on his free throws
Burgess played a couple of minutes. I think Berg is going to be reserved for games where we need a big body against a big, interior players. Burgess is apparently still not in game shape to play more than a few minutes a game?
Furst looked weak again with the ball on offense but did well on defense. TKR and Heide were the show mixed in with solid performances by most of the others.
Felt like they were getting something with getting TKR the ball higher on the wings then clearing out and letting him cook as opposed to traditional post ups. Felt NBAesque.
Thought so too early. Right now it looks low key OM age, physicality and experience is coming back to make it a war

Looks like ole Miss it is. Tough old physical team. Likes to get it inside. Had 40 pts in the paint and another 26 @ the FT line. While out rebounding a tall BYU team. Good challenge for our weaknesses. Be interesting to see if we can compete?
I feel like we are witnessing the emergence of Cam Heide.
I believe it's on regular Fox, not FS1. Looking at the college football timeslots for tomorrow confirms that. There's a game on FS1 at 3:30, and a game on Fox at 8pm.
I just always think he's going to travel or get the ball stripped when he makes the quick move in the lane.
Heide with 35 mins tonight! He is getting more and more comfortable and is getting those Gillis 3 ball looks and knocking them down. He is a star in the making that we all knew could happen. Loved the pop on the fast break.
Colvin doing the dirty work and hopefully his shot will come around! Love to see him rebounding on both sides of the ball.
TKR is a beast and is who I told yall he’d be!
Braden solid again but seems to be in somewhat of a shooting slump but how he can find it again.
Good to see Harris come alive with offense. Burgess needs more mins to get more experience. I like Berg, but I respect painter for going away from him, for now.
Thought Furst played his best game all year in good mins (for him). He keeps improving and getting that confidence back.
Overall, +10 in rebounding and only 6 TOs, 76% from FT not bad but needs improving there. 31% from 3 but still won by double digits.
Most importantly, WE ATTACKED THE PRESS and tried to score.

Nice to see us win one while not shooting particularly well.
I feel like when Purdue can limit offensive rebounds and turnovers to under around 15 combined, this team is very hard to beat.
