Let's get straight to the point! There is bad blood between these two basketball programs. We (MSU) don't like the Purdue basketball program and I'm sure there are a lot of Purdue fans who don't like the MSU basketball program and Tom Izzo. Let's not sugar coat it folks! There is a history of trash talking between the two schools accusing each other of recruiting improprieties.
Do I respect this current Purdue basketball squad? Yes I do! Do I like them? No I do not! Not one bit. Purdue has a very good basketball team this year, but I'm afraid they are going to run into a very hungry, B1G tourney title driven squad led by Denzel Valentine. The fact that the game is being played on a neutral court bodes well for MSU.
There will be no home cooking as far as officiating is concerned (illegal screen by A.J. Hammons on the Valentine foul to end the game the first time both teams met)
I also do not expect Rapheal Davis to save Purdue & go crazy again from 3 point range in tomorrow's game. It will be another bruising B1G game. This is going to be a game for men, not the meek. When the dust settles, expect MSU to make more clutch plays and pull away with the victory.
It has been a very good season for Purdue, but the buck stops here against MSU in the B1G tournament championship game. Izzo and company will find a way to dig deep and win tomorrow. Get your popcorn and favorite beverage ready, because it's Showtime folks!!
