The Big Ten’s fastest man of 2014 couldn’t outpace 2018’s run of bad luck for Boilers in the NFL.
Minutes after scoring his first pro touchdown -- on a 53-yard run against Coach Chucky’s hapless Raiders -- Raheem Mostert added a few more runs for the 49ers to pad his career-best game to 86 yards rushing on seven carries.
But, on the last one, he suffered a gruesome arm injury on a bad landing, screaming loud and needing assistance to get off the field after a timeout while players kneeled. His arm was immediately placed in a brace.
He’ll join Allen and Bentley as Boilers on the IR this year.
