I don't think Brohm needs a lot of fodder to find something motivational for his players to maintain focus and play hard....but I think any coach would take something like this and use it in some fashion. They didn't give up more points because Brohm took his foot off the gas of the offense. He even said he went really conservative and vanilla in the second half. But that team did quit because Purdue made them quit.
