Don't know how to post picture from phone but he had on a Kelly green jacket and blue hat. I will post pic if someone can tell me how or send to one of you to post
Did he turn it inside out during the second game?Don't know how to post picture from phone but he had on a Kelly green jacket and blue hat. I will post pic if someone can tell me how or send to one of you to post
He had a Purdue sweatshirt on underneath. Admitted he just grabbed a jacket when he left the house and didn't even think about the colors
... except for red and white. He can wear whatever he wants so long as he keeps the high value of a Purdue degree while keeping tuition in check.

Any chance with the change of AD's this could change?Just wait for the IU game when IU fans are sitting in our university trustees' premium seats.

I'd highly doubt that a new athletic director will go on a war path to piss off a trustee in the first 9 months on the job.
And quite frankly, it'd be more appropriate for the university president to say something, not the AD (the AD could say something to the President though).
However, many schools have policies in place that regardless of who's seats they are, they can't be wearing opposing team apparel in those premium/courtside seats.
Agree in that it's best to have any discussion at the "Board (BOT)" level.....even better, IMO, if it's one Trustee to another.....these people know about optics....or should in their positions.
While we agree, I think we can also agree that will never happen.
Completely agree with someone "at" PU giving those seats to someone from IU. No way that should be happening. But right now on StubHub it you're willing to fork over $599 per seat you can buy 2 seats in the first row. Not sure how you would ever be able to stop someone from selling their seats. Considering how much they pay to get them in the first place, it's not likely the school is going to try and tell them what they can do with them.Is it possbile to know for certain whose seats are whoms?
Because I totally agree, it's embarrassing to see fans of the other team, especially iu fans , sitting in the best seats in their ugly red shit.
If they buy those seats on the second hand market, then fine, but if they are provided by a higher up at Purdue, then that's just wrong.

"Las Vegas Gold" & "Black"? I pine for the "Old Gold" colors.Don't know how to post picture from phone but he had on a Kelly green jacket and blue hat. I will post pic if someone can tell me how or send to one of you to post

What is the BOT name? Any idea? It's been stated that the seats that were originally referred to in this post (which are the premium 'court side' seats) are a BOT, who gives them to IU people. This has happened the last few years.

If someone does, please post it. The JPC is always asking for suggestions and any issues that we see. I'll be happy to submit this one. No way anyone associated with the university should be giving tickets to the opponent, IU or any other.I do not know, someone on here does because they've been mentioned by name.
Do you EVER wear anything but black and gold?Don't know how to post picture from phone but he had on a Kelly green jacket and blue hat. I will post pic if someone can tell me how or send to one of you to post
Well shucks....go out and buy him a gold jacket with some black slacks and a Purdue tie. Write it off as a deduction to the University.Sure but not often. I sure as hell don't wear the opposing teams colors to the crossroads classic. I'm sure he can afford a black jacket. Blue under armour hat. His jacket was Kelly Green
I thought this letter was exceptional. I'm proud to call him our President and hope we can keep him. I suspect bigger and better things could be offered him if he chooses.

What's your major malfunction. He is the highly paid president of MY university who wore the opposing team's colors to the Crossroads Classic. Maybe a smiley but not the frown BS. It looked coordinated and in case you didn't know Under Armour sponsors the Filthy Irish. You are probably one of the douche bags that wears blue and white flannels shirts while sitting in front row seats at Mackey.Well shucks....go out and buy him a gold jacket with some black slacks and a Purdue tie. Write it off as a deduction to the University.
To be fair, Purdue's GPA average is rising but not at the national rate and then he mentions what the university is doing about it.It is full of a lot of information - but some of it is contradictory. Talks about how GPAs are inflated across the country - but then shows how Purdue's GPAs are rising sharply. Then talks about all of these facilities being built, then talks about how we don't want to get in an arms race.
One thing that is good to see is the retention rate, which has plagued Purdue historically. Both Cordova and Daniels have put a lot of emphasis on this and the 10 year number shows their efforts have paid off.
