Purdue lost to Bowling Green not all that long ago. MAC teams have Big Ten talent on the 1st teams, it usually drops off with the 2nd teamers in most cases.
We'll be playing a pissed off Minny, but without their star RB. I would expect a run heavy Minny game and hope that we can stop them as our front DL has been doing well. Have not read up on them since the Ohio State loss, but they were very competitive against Ohio State and I saw that game.
Purdue will have to have some of our injury players return to action and perform to beat them. This is another strong test of our team this season. i'm sure they'll be ready for it.
BGSU sucks. They went 0-5 last season and had lost 10 straight games prior to their win yesterday. They had less than 200 yards of offense and still beat the Gophers.
The Gophers almost lost to Miami-OH two weeks ago at home. The Redhawks are not good either. That score was Minnesota 31 Miami-OH 26.
The moment we get cocky on “Minnesota sucks” will be followed by a suckers punch knock out. Purdue knows they will run with some RPO. Our defense has been much improved. Let’s hope some key contributors return to health, and Purdue stays focused for another W.
I heard all day that Purdue would beat ILL by 10-14 pts by several posters. Reality was 4th Qtr come from behind score to win.
Just gotta be able to throw deep past the defense. The way to attack Oconnell is to press then bring pressure that gets home before routes can develop.
the easy way to beat this is do throw deep over press coverage.
we will know we have a big time QB if Aidan has grown to the point where he sees the blitz and can hit a receiver occupying the space that the blitzer came from.
If autman-bell isn’t healthy and playing really well Morgan might get hurt
