Crazy.....entire bench got ejected, a foul-out and injury....almost cut it to one late.
Alabama must have been working on their triangle and none defense.

I feel like if Purdue played 5v3 they would have outscored their opponent by 20 in those 10 minutes. Easy bucket for Haas or easy look from 3.
This may speak to the style of play Minnesota employs. They tend to be rough and tumble on the court and may have frustrated and irritated the Alabama players. If the refs don't call minna on their nonsense, it might have caused the banana guys to take swings. Minnesota got under their skin.
I recall playing them. I spent much of the game yelling at my TV, cursing at the refs for not calling all the arm grabs, hacks, bumps, and over the back leaps by Minnesota. I also recall some on-court paybacks. It was an ugly game. It was when I developed a true dislike on mini-Petino.

Am I reading this right? For the final 10 minutes of the game Minny played 5 vs 3 and only won by a handful? Wow, they must really suck.
