How can you not be responsible for your gun? Doesn't it need to be in a lock box when it is not in your possession?
It wasn't Millers gun. He brought the gun to the scene.
That seems even worse, he is an accessary to the murder,.
There's a lot more to this story I'm sure.
From what I understand, Alabama is open carry. I think you'd have to prove that Miller knew the gun was going to be used in shooting.
Not an attorney, but I'm guessing the police didn't think they had enough (or anything for that matter) against Miller to go after him.
Sounds like Alabama tried to do damage control when the police released the text message for the gun request from Miles to Miller. Then the coach held a presser and made it worse with the insensitive way he put things in his perspective. Should the school have suspended him? Interesting that he is/was a lottery pick on a pretty good team.
