Miles

I second that! BIG TEN is a great CONF............four teams in top 10..2 teams in the BCS playoff hunt! The right coach can recruit and compete in this CONF.(TIRE OF THE BS THAT WE CANT COMPETE WITH OUR LOCATION AND FACILITIES) Tiller did it.......so it can e done. This is an "EGO" coaching job for a guy like MILES! A tough job to turn around, but he is going to prove that it can be done! If the money is on par, we will get him!

If not miles it will be Sumlin.
One thing is for sure......we need fannies in the stands.........we are dead last in conf attendance at 34k........nearest team is MD at 41K ave.........we're losing a cool MIL in ticket REVS per game....so money damn well better not be an issue!

Speaking of $$ how much do you think the search firm cost? Hopefully it will be $$ well spent.
The search firm is not so much to provide a list of candidates but to handle contacts and interview logistics. Especially guys with jobs who want to keep their interest private. I doubt any candidates have visited campus yet.

So with new coach and a bigger salary than Hazell plus more for assistant coaches, I assume, will ticket prices stay the same?

They can't raise them until we win. They will jack up prices for Michigan to make some $$ off their fans. Right now they literally cannot give the tickets away. I really think a new coach goes 5-7 against a hard schedule and brings some energy back.

We all know how that went for Minny.....Please no. If you can't get Miles or Fleck, I am hopeful that MBob can get a top flight OC who is looking to make a name for themselves. Unfortunately, Purdue may have to take a similar road to IU when they hired Wilson and give them plenty of time to rewire the program. Fortunately, I think Parker has shown that with the correct buttons being pushed and tweaks, gains can be made in the first year that will make the rebuild much easier.
